Imbolc – Mindful Muse Wheel of the Year – Seasonal Circle at Yoga Garden

This is an open invitation for our local community to gather on the earth-based seasonal holidays of the Wheel of the Year, alternating between our sister studios of Yoga Garden in Apex and Pittsboro. Our time together includes gentle yoga and movement, guided meditation, yoga nidra, and music. These rich, non-denominational, mystical teachings and practices help to foster growth and add depth and dimension to your own spirituality and empowerment, while honoring the seasons of mother earth as well as our own internal cycles. On the first Sunday of the month from March through December from 12-4 p.m., downtown hosts the Pittsboro First Sunday Artisan Fair & Market. This family-friendly event has live music, food trucks and dozens of vendors selling art, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, soaps, pottery and more. There is a designated play area for children in the parking lot across from Pittsboro Roadhouse. Many businesses host their own sales and events.

Sacred Sound with Garth at Yoga Garden

Every object has a natural vibratory rate; it's resonance. One of the principles of using frequency as a transformative and healing modality is to understand that the body is in a constant state of vibration. Every organ, every bone, every tissue, every system--all are in a state of vibration. When we are in a state of health, the body projects an overall harmonic of health. External frequencies along with intention can be used to support and return both body and spirit to optimal health. Join Garth in traversing and transcending these corporeal bodies with ancient sounds from around the globe including guitar, overtone singing, chimes, Tibetan Bowls, flute, gong, frame drum, shruti box, tuning forks and didgeridoo. Please arrive around 4:45pm to get settled in for the 5pm start time. There are some mats and supports available at Yoga Garden, but please feel free to bring whatever you need to be comfortable on the ground for over an hour. If there is anything specific you'd like support with during the session, please let Garth know before the session begins. Some benefits of Sacred Sound -Reduce stress and anxiety significantly. -Lower anger and blood pressure. -Improve circulation and increases blood flow. -Deep relaxation and pain relief. -Chakra balancing. Offered on a sliding scale from $20-$30. it is recommended that you preregister to reserve your spot.

Quiltmaker Cafe at First Sunday

The Quiltmaker Café is excited to be offering another Pay-What-You-Can meal and invite all community members to visit our booth at First Sunday!
