Jerry & Robin Richardson of Pittsboro, NC, are the owners & operators of Maple View Mobile (MVM) and Circle City Ice Cream, (CCIC). CCIC was established in September of 2023. We specialize in bringing North Carolina farm products, “Direct from the farm to you.” After operating an ice cream kiosk for several years at University Place in Chapel Hill, Jerry & Robin decided to focus on securing a fixed location close to their Chatham County, NC home. This became a reality in fall of 2023 when Circle City Ice Cream opened its doors at 21 W. Chatham Street, Pittsboro, NC. Circle City Ice Cream is a unique ice cream shop specializing in hand dipped ice cream from Maple View (locally sourced) and Blue Bell (a national brand from Texas). At Circle City, you will find 16 flavors of hand dipped ice cream as well as shakes, malted shakes, sundaes, banana splits, many types of cones as well as many flavors of floats. Maple View Mobile is a mobile food truck/trailer based in Chatham County and features Maple View County Store Ice Cream. MVM has served the Chatham, Orange & Durham County areas since 2011. The mobile unit offers eight standard dairy flavors of hand dipped ice cream as well a delicious fresh sorbet, which is vegan friendly and dairy free. Our goal is to have a delicious treat for everyone. MVM accepts many forms of payment including Cash, Apple Pay, Android Pay and all debit/credit cards.
